Post 16 Skills Centre
As from November 2025, the Post 16 Skills Centre is based at our new campus on Ashley Road, Poole. The campus is equipped with a food tech room, large bright and spacious classrooms, outdoor recreational space and a large communal hall for dining. If you are interested in seeing how it was developed, you can view the photo gallery here. It has its own kitchen servery, and students will be able to order a hot meal via Parent Mail. The dinner menu can be accessed on the floating set of buttons on the right or by clicking here.
The focus within the Skills Centre is to develop skills and qualities that prepare students for adulthood. We are aspirational for our students and aim to prepare them for the next step of their adult life. Students are encouraged and enabled to make choices, express preferences, and make decisions.
Students at the Skills Centre are supported in developing their employability and independence skills. Their learning is guided by the Employability Skills Framework and the Skills for My Future framework.
